love the idea of stealing a private moment just the two of you, but you still want the magic of seeing each other as you walk down the aisle. This was Justine’s exact dilemma when deciding whether or not to do a first look. We thought it was pretty worth it. Don’t believe us? Take a look at these swoon worthy photos from onelove photography!
For many couples, the first look has plenty of great benefits. You two get to share this wonderful moment with just each other, which can help to eliminate a lot of nerves as you walk down the aisle. It also allows for a more relaxed time for family & bridal party photos before everyone on your guest list is trying to grab your attention. To top it all off, it gets you back to your cocktail hour or reception that much faster following the ceremony. You spent months selecting those tray passed appetizers and featured cocktails! You sure don’t want to miss them!
Some brides fear that doing a first look will take away from the rush of emotion you get when you first walk down the aisle. But for most brides, everything unfolds exactly the same. It’s a completely different rush and feels amazing no matter what!
“That was amazing!” Justine said once her first look was finished. “If ever a bride is thinking about not doing this, just stop and do it!”
Well, we think you should take this WINK! bride’s word for it. Whether you choose to see each other before the wedding or not, we know your heart will be filled with pure love and joy.
Thank you to Justine & Henry for allowing us to share in your amazing day!
Until next time,
XOXO
Elizabeth
