completely you? Don’t worry, that’s why you have WINK! We are going gaga over these ceremony trends and we just HAD to share!
Out with Conventional Programs!
Whether you go for a pop-up book about your wedding party or create a magazine that’s all about the two of you, keep your guests talking
well after the day is done. Wedding programs of all shapes, sizes and styles are popping up all over the place and adding a totally unique element to the ceremony before it even begins! Some couples are even getting rid of the usual program altogether and going for big signage! Tell your story
your way and don’t be afraid to get creative.

Who Gives this Bride?
We
love this part. It’s such a heartfelt moment as the bride leaves her family’s arms to stand beside her new partner in life. Who says only Dad gets to be a part of this one? Step outside of the traditional norms and feel free to borrow customs from other cultures and religions, or totally create your own! More and more the bride is walked down the aisle by both parents or other family members. We love when
grooms get in on this one too! While they might not be giving him away exactly, it’s such an amazing way to show that your entire family is supporting you as your start this new and exciting journey!

“By the power vested in me…”
We all remember how Joey married Monica & Chandler, but that TV moment isn’t all that far from reality.
(Minus the army outfit…maybe) Can’t find an officiate you are crazy about? Not religious or don’t attend a local parish or synagogue? No fear! Having a dear friend or family member perform the ceremony is a great way to add a personal touch, throw in some funny stories and make sure the ceremony is done by someone who knows you both and is close to your heart. Just make sure it’s someone who is comfortable speaking in front of a crowd and taking such a key part in your day. Also, make sure that person is legally able to marry you! Your coordinator can help make sure that all the right documents are in order, signed and sent off so that you two don’t miss a beat!

Spontaneity & Personal Touches
Planned spontaneity, of course! This one is a bit of a story: a short while ago during the planning stages of an intimate wedding, a couple wanted to have their friends and family speak at the wedding, but the idea of having them come up for readings or toasts just wasn’t their style. What did happen was something pretty spectacular. Just before the couple was to say their vows, the officiate told them that some of their family would like to say a few words. From random seats they popped up, one by one. “Love is patient!” one guest shouted, “Love is kind!” came another voice from across the aisle. “Love is all you need!” And it went on like this for a few moments more, until the couple had been showered with love from the voices of their friends. Finding a personal way for your friends to share their love for you is always rich and rewarding. It could be with a unique guest book, a wishing tree, or a recipe box full of words of wisdom for the happy couple. Whatever your taste, don’t miss out on these totally unique moments!
Hold the Rice
Rice, bubbles and bird seed are ceremony send off standards. Get off the beaten path and find something that’s
totally you! Fresh daisies or flower petals are super fun for an outdoor wedding with an earthy feel. Maybe try big confetti for a truly lavish send off! Do you two have a total sweet tooth? Supply your guests with yummy sprinkles to toss as your make your way back down the aisle! We
love this beachy couple who had their guests toss beach balls all around after the big “I Do!”

You two are something so special and unique. Make sure your ceremony reflects that! Add personal touches, embrace family traditions or even start a new one! Whatever it is, your guest will walk away with smiles on their faces and memories in their hearts.
See you next time!
