Pet lovers unite!
For those of us who tote our beloved pets everywhere with us, we couldn’t imagine not involving them in the most important day of our lives!
The opportunities for doggie-dressup are endless. You definitely want to make sure you adorn your pooch with an outfit! Consider coordinating your dog’s outfit with your color palette in some way.
These couples chose to adorn their pooch with dressy doggie bow ties (See more at this adorable Etsy shop)
These couples chose to spruce up their dog’s collar and leash with florals that match their bridal bouquets.
If your wedding is going to be a more formal affair you can even dress your four-legged friends up in a doggie tuxedo, dress or even a tutu…Yes we said tutu! (We love these doggie tuxes on this online shop!)
If you don’t want to walk your pet down the aisle, you could always use a different method of transportation. You could dress up a wagon to tote your pet, or even a basket!
So, you’re bringing your pet into your wedding. Now what? First things first:
– Keep in mind that on your wedding day you will most likely be very busy so someone needs to be dubbed with doggy duty.
– You also need to do your research and make sure your venues are pet friendly. If they are, then you need to inform them ahead of time that you plan on including your pet on your special day.
Luckily for us more and more venues are becoming pet friendly. Here are a few southern California wedding venues that are pet friendly:
Kimpton Hotels Renaissance Long Breach Marriott The Laguna Hills Hotel Hotel Casa Del Mar The Langham Pasadena Joie De Vivre Custom Hotel, LA
Have fun! Your pets thank you 🙂
