1. Book A Spa Day: It’s amazing what a half hour soothing facial or massage can do for your body. We’re not suggesting an intense makeover-type facial two days before your wedding, but just pamper yourself for a little bit. Don’t let anyone say you have too much to do. Hey, you’re the bride after all so it’s okay to be selfish just this once. Or you can even get creative and plan a DIY “at home” spa day. With the help of some cucumbers, a facial mask and relaxing music, you’ll be ready to tackle the wedding planning with a whole new spirit!

2. Bridesmaid Yoga: Namaste. That’s what you’ll be saying after a bridesmaid’s yoga session. Between juggling work, wedding planning and still making time for your fiancé, we know there are never enough hours in the day. But trust us when we say an hour of yoga or Pilates will not only help tone that gorgeous body of yours, it’ll help you center yourself mentally so you can conquer your to-do list like a pro. You can definitely do this solo, but what better way to bond with the bridesmaids than a group class? They’ll love it!

3. Plan For Sleep: While this may seem obvious, take a minute and think about how much you’re actually sleeping these days. Probably not as much as you’d like. Sadly, with online wedding sites, Pinterest, iPhone apps and your iPad on-hand next to your pillow, it’s almost impossible to escape technology. We’re all for being an over-prepared, tech-savvy bride, but yes, you have to PLAN for sleep. Don’t wait until you’re exhausted because chances are, it’s your nerves keeping you awake. We’ve all heard that sleep is the best medicine, but it’s also the best kept beauty secret! Yes, facials, exercise and beauty regimens are always helpful, but let your body rest and you’ll be radiating the “bridal glow” before you know it. People will notice the difference and you’ll feel like a new woman.

4. Honeymoon Shopping: While we know the priority is planning for the perfect wedding day, don’t forget about your honeymoon! So go for it; go shop for a new outfit or some of your honeymoon-must haves. Don’t put this one off because as it gets closer to the wedding, you’ll have less and less time for in-prompt-to shopping trips. And not to mention, it’ll get you so excited for your honeymoon, you’ll find yourself daydreaming about it. The honeymoon is the “calm after the wedding” so take some time to do a little planning and a little shopping. Hey, you want to look as good on your honeymoon as you do on your wedding day and you deserve it!

5. Tea Time: Oh did we say tea? We actually mean cupcake time! Yup, that’s right. Now please note, we’re not implying indulging in a cupcake every day or eating a whole box (that won’t solve anything). But we are suggesting a “tea time” afternoon with a gourmet cupcake to top it off. Need to brainstorm with your bridesmaids? Grab a spot at the cupcakery down the street or have the girls over for some homemade cupcakes. But make this a must on your to-do list. The idea of “afternoon tea” isn’t common these days, but it once was a daily occurrence for a reason. A reason we love: a time to breathe, a time to chat, a time to think and a time for tea and cupcakes!
Don’t forget to leave the details to the pros. That’s why you hire vendors, right? So focus on your priorities and make some time for Y-O-U. After some much-needed time to relax and regroup, your family, friends and fiancé will thank you.
