Bridal Showers! To tea or not to tea…
huge hand in planning your bridal shower, you still totally get a say in what kind of day it will be. So, I wanted to take some time to share some bridal shower trends we are LOVING here at WINK!
Mimosas are great, but you can have them any day! As craft cocktails have been making a big comeback in the bar scene, beautiful themed bevies have become a way of party life! Consider offering a selection of specialty cocktails, sangria, and swap that mimosa for another champagne based cocktail. (French 75, anyone?)
Nix some of those stale party games and throw in something completely different! Why not have guests make their own perfumes or bath salts? It’s something so simple and beautiful, and each time your guests use it, they will think of you and your beautiful shower. Plus, what could be more heavenly than a room filled with essential oils and lovely ladies? Make each girl’s mix even more special by having a selection of fun or vintage jars and bottles!
Basic evites are so 2007! Beautifully designed, custom invitations with color blocking, vintage touches and mod flair are back! Whether these go out in matching envelopes or are sent digitally (feeling green?), you can’t go wrong with a stunning invite!
It’s his wedding too, right? Whether he wants his own “power shower” or just to be with you and your girls while you unwrap gifts, make sure he is a part of this super fun day! While he may not be as excited about that avocado KitchenAid mixer as you are (us too!), having him there will make the day all the more special. Quick! Get that groom a cocktail!
